Regrettably, the price increases on some items reflects the "drying
up" of supplies from Halda and the consequential need for me to invest in
the manufacturing of parts on my own account. The costs for overhauls have also been adjusted to more accurately reflect the time it takes to dismantle what are very complex instruments, repair or replace parts using the experience I have gained over 25 years, and re-assemble them to look and perform as they did when they were new. You will not find anyone in the world with more experience of Halda instruments than King Cog! These new prices will apply from November 1st 2006.
Losses in the mail !!
In the last two months two valuable packages I sent by airmail have gone astray. Perhaps this is a new policy by Royal Mail, to lose a certain percentage! Anyway I am now going to insure every package I send out to Europe and beyond, so that a signature will be required on receipt. I will have to pass this on to you but at least you will be much more sure of getting your parts.
For really fast secure service you need to use Fedex or UPS, which can be expensive.
These prices are in GB Pounds unless otherwise marked and are subject to change without notice due to postage increases and the jiggery-pokery practised by international currency speculators.
